Premier Property Tax
Authorization:
Premier Property Tax is authorized to execute notices of appeal, represent you at the informal and/or Appraisal Review Board hearings, request correction of any errors for the current or previous tax years and file for binding arbitration or to engage counsel for a judicial appeal and to negotiate a settlement offer on your behalf if we believe that arbitration is advisable and/or beneficial.
Client will timely provide copies of all pertinent documents received from the appraisal district in reference to the owner’s property and an Appointment of Agent (authorization) form as required by the appraisal district. In addition, client will provide, no later than two weeks prior to any scheduled hearing date, copies of all documents requested by Premier Property Tax necessary to represent the property owner’s best interest.
Residential Service Agreement:
In exchange for property tax appeal services, Premier Property Tax will charge a contingency fee equal to 50% of the estimated tax savings (as defined below) for each account. There is no charge of any kind unless the proposed value is reduced. This agreement is irrevocable for the current tax year, and shall remain in effect unless revoked, in writing, prior to March 1st of any subsequent year.
Commercial Service Agreement:
In exchange for property tax appeal services, Premier Property Tax will charge a contingency fee equal to 30% of the estimated tax savings (as defined below) for each account. There is no charge of any kind unless the proposed value is reduced. This agreement is irrevocable for the current tax year, and shall remain in effect unless revoked, in writing, prior to March 1st of any subsequent year.
Exemptions, Payment & Interest:
Payment is due in full within 30 days of the invoice date. "Estimated Tax Savings" for a given protested tax year are defined as follows:
Subtract your property's final assessed value for that year from its initial assessed value, then multiply the difference by the previous year's total tax rate. The resulting number is the Estimated Tax Savings used to calculate the contingency fee.
Tax savings are calculated for the purpose of determining fees without consideration of any applicable exemptions (including, but not limited to homestead, disability or over 65 exemptions).
Beginning thirty days after the invoice date, you agree to pay interest on any unpaid balance at a rate equal to the lesser of the maximum lawful interest rate allowed by applicable Texas law or eighteen percent per annum (pre-judgment and post-judgment), compounded annually.
THERE IS NO CHARGE OF ANY KIND UNLESS THE PROPOSED APPRAISED VALUE IS REDUCED
Length of Agreement:
This agreement is irrevocable for the first year, and shall remain in effect until canceled by either party with a 30-day prior written notice. Premier Property Tax may withdraw from this contract without notice in the event balance becomes delinquent.

You acknowledge that Premier Property Tax has made no written or implied guarantee regarding the outcome of any hearing, arbitration, or appeal as to final value results or reductions in tax assessments. All warranties are disclaimed and Premier Property Tax's liability for any inaction, error, or action is limited to the fee amount actually paid under this agreement. Any dispute between client and Premier Property Tax arising from this agreement which is not resolved through informal discussion will be submitted to a mutually acceptable mediation service or provider. The parties to the mediation shall bear the mediation costs equally. This does not preclude a party from seeking equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
